And with the development of modern communication technology, the development of communication frequency to higher band has been an inevitable trend, in the C-band or higher frequency band, the wavelength is very short, the antenna mentioned above is complex in structure, resulting in high processing cost, difficult to debug, and the feeding structure is also difficult to design, so that the bandwidth of the antenna is narrower; At the same time, the height of these types of antennas exceeds half a wavelength or a quarter wavelength, and the antenna height is too large, resulting in a large volume space, and the antenna RCS (radar scattering cross-section) is also large, which also has a great impact on the electromagnetic stealth characteristics of various carrier platforms.
In view of the above situation, it is necessary to develop an omnidirectional antenna for the actual communication platform, that is, a new C-band wideband miniaturized omnidirectional antenna, which can provide more ideal electromagnetic characteristics than the existing antennas.
